Lifetime WarrantyComplete Coverage & Claims Process

From the Doctor's Desk ,Stunning Dentistry

What Is Covered Under the Lifetime Warranty

  • Implant fixture manufacturing defects (fracture, failure, threading issues)
  • Abutment defects (fracture, corrosion, design flaw)
  • Prosthetic component defects (veneer fracture, crown delamination, denture base crack)
  • Prosthetic fabrication errors (incorrect shade, tooth position, bite problems directly attributable to lab work)
  • Implant placement complications (e.g., fixture angulation requiring replacement due to initial surgical error)
  • Retreatment clinical fees for covered defects (replacement surgery, refitting, etc.)
  • Diagnostic imaging and assessment fees for warranty evaluation
  • Lifetime access to warranty claims support and coordination

What Is Not Covered

  • Hygiene-related complications (periimplantitis, bone loss from inadequate care)
  • Infection from poor oral hygiene
  • Mechanical damage from contraindicated behaviour (e.g., chewing on hard non-food items)
  • Trauma or accident damage (tooth knocked in accident)
  • Age-related wear on prosthetics (cosmetic wear after many years is expected)
  • Colour change or slight discoloration of restorations (minor staining is cosmetic, not defect)
  • Soft tissue complications from inadequate flossing or home care
  • Bone loss from systemic disease or hormone changes unrelated to surgery
  • Complications from smoking or other lifestyle factors known to affect healing
  • Complications from non-compliance with post-operative instructions

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • Step 1: Contact your CRM coordinator with details of the concern (pain, visual damage, functional problem, etc.)
  • Step 2: Provide photographs if helpful (e.g., a visible crack, discoloration, or prosthetic issue)
  • Step 3: Arrange a clinical assessment (typically a video consultation with photographs, or a local clinical review)
  • Step 4: Await clinical determination of whether the concern falls within warranty scope
  • Step 5: If approved, coordinate replacement (may be local in Canada or coordinated with Stunning Dentistry)
  • Step 6: Replacement scheduling and logistics arranged at no cost to you
  • Step 7: Completion and follow-up to ensure resolution

Warranty Claim Assessment Criteria

When you report a concern, the clinical team reviews whether it falls within warranty scope using clear criteria: Is the defect or failure consistent with manufacturing/placement error or with patient care/lifestyle factors? Is the defect documented in the clinical literature as a known risk despite proper care, or is it unexpected? Has the patient adhered to recommended hygiene and follow-up protocols? These criteria are applied transparently, and you are informed of the determination with explanation. If a claim is not approved (e.g., because bone loss is clearly attributable to inadequate flossing), we explain the reasoning and offer transparent alternatives for management or financial arrangements.

International Warranty Honour

Your warranty is honoured internationally. Whether you remain in Canada, move to Canada, the United States, or anywhere else, your warranty protections remain valid. Your CRM coordinator remains your point of contact, and we coordinate warranty claims across borders as needed.

Warranty Transfer & Lifetime Value

Your warranty is personal to you as the patient and remains active regardless of changes in your life circumstances (marriage, name change, relocation, career change, etc.). The warranty is documented in your treatment agreement and serves as permanent proof of coverage. You do not need separate registration or annual renewal-your treatment documentation is your warranty proof.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the lifetime warranty really lifetime?

Yes. As documented for covered components and manufacturing defects, your warranty is valid for the rest of your life with no expiry date, no annual fee, and no renewal requirement. If an implant or prosthesis fails due to a manufacturing defect when you are 80 years old, it is still covered.

What if I need warranty work but cannot return to India?

Your CRM coordinator arranges local coordination. In most cases, your Canadian dentist can perform the replacement (e.g., removing a failed crown and placing a new one) whilst Stunning Dentistry covers all material costs and coordinates with your dentist. For complex cases (e.g., implant fixture failure requiring replacement surgery), we provide clear guidance on treatment options, timeline, and logistics.

Do I need to register my warranty separately?

No. Your treatment agreement and surgical records serve as your warranty documentation. You do not need separate registration, serial number tracking, or annual renewals. Your CRM coordinator maintains your records and can issue warranty confirmation at any time.

What if I lose contact with Stunning Dentistry-is my warranty still valid?

Your warranty is documented in your treatment agreement and is your legal right regardless of ongoing contact. However, your CRM coordinator remains a lifelong point of contact to facilitate any warranty claims, so losing contact is unlikely. If circumstances change, your Canadian dentist can contact Stunning Dentistry on your behalf.

Does the warranty cover cosmetic improvements or enhancements?

No. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing or placement. Cosmetic requests (e.g., 'I want my veneers whiter') are not warranty items-they are separate elective requests. Your dentist can discuss cosmetic options if desired.

What if there's a defect AND a hygiene issue-is it still covered?

Assessment is nuanced. If an implant is failing due to primary hygiene failure, it is not covered. If an implant has a manufacturing defect AND secondarily developed hygiene issues, we discuss which is the primary cause. Transparency is paramount-we explain our reasoning.

Can I transfer my warranty if I sell my teeth to someone else?

No, warranties are personal to the patient. The warranty protects you specifically. Transfer to other individuals is not possible.

What if I need a crown replaced for cosmetic reasons years later-is that warranty?

No. Routine replacement or cosmetic modification is not a warranty item. Warranty covers defects in the original prosthesis. Replacement for cosmetic reasons or normal wear is elective and involves discussion of costs with your dentist.
