Myth: Indian clinics use cheap, unbranded implants.
Reality: Stunning Dentistry exclusively uses Straumann (Switzerland) and Nobel Biocare (Sweden/USA) — the same fixtures used in top Canadian clinics. Each implant has a serial number traceable to manufacturer. Authorised distributor records on request.
Myth: The materials are USFDA-approved on paper, not actually.

Myth: Cheap means cut corners on sterilisation.

Myth: The lab work is outsourced overseas.

Myth: If it's that cheap, there must be hidden costs.
Reality: Stunning Dentistry quotes are itemised, written, and binding. Payment is structured: deposit, pre-surgery balance, completion. No surprise add-ons. CBCT, surgery, all visits, temporary teeth, final prosthesis included.
Myth: They'll lure me with a low price, then upsell on arrival.
Reality: We don't operate that way. Any change to plan (e.g., a previously-undiagnosed cyst or graft requirement) is presented in writing with new pricing — and you can decline. Most patients pay exactly what was quoted.
Myth: Currency conversion fees will eat my savings.
Reality: Pricing is quoted directly in CAD. Bank-transfer FX is at market rates. Even in worst-case 2% conversion margin, you save on request+ on full-mouth cases — currency math doesn't change the picture.
Myth: Dental tourism is too good to be true.

Myth: There's no warranty for overseas treatment.

Myth: Same-day teeth means it's all temporary fast work.
Reality: Same-day teeth are well-fitted temporary acrylic/PMMA prosthetics designed to function during the 4-6 month osseointegration period. Final zirconia is fabricated and fitted later — to clinical standards no different from staged-protocol cases.
Myth: I'll lose 2-3 weeks of work.
Reality: Most patients book 10-14 days off — including travel. Standard cases proceed on Day 3, with Day 10 departure clearance. Many patients work remotely from the hotel during recovery days.
Myth: I'll be in pain for weeks.
Reality: Most patients report mild discomfort for 2-3 days, managed with standard painkillers. By Day 4-5, most patients feel close to normal. Long-term implant pain is uncommon and addressed if it occurs.
Myth: I won't be able to eat normally for months.
Reality: Soft food for first 2-4 weeks; pasta, soup, eggs, fish are fine from Day 7. Normal diet by Week 4-6. Hard/crunchy foods (apples, nuts) from Week 4 onwards.
Myth: My speech will be permanently affected.

Myth: My final teeth will look fake.

Myth: My Canadian dentist won't touch overseas work.

Myth: Implants set off airport security.
Reality: No. Modern dental implants are titanium and do not trigger metal detectors or millimetre-wave scanners. We provide an implant card for medical settings (MRI compatibility).
Myth: I can never get an MRI again.
Reality: Titanium dental implants are MRI-safe. They produce minor local artefacts on facial MRIs but do not contraindicate the scan. Inform the radiographer.
Myth: I'll need expensive special toothpaste forever.
Reality: Standard fluoride toothpaste, soft-bristle brush, daily flossing/interdental brushes. Annual professional cleaning at your Canadian dentist. Same hygiene as natural teeth.
Myth: I'll keep needing to fly to India for maintenance.
